Chanting at least One round of Hare Krishna Mahamantra every day and reading Srila Prabhupada’s books. Participation in temple programs and festivities.

Sadhaka: 4 Rounds

Chanting at least Four rounds of Hare Krishna Mahamantra daily, complete study of the books “Beyond Birth and Death” & “Perfect Question Perfect Answer”, believing in Lord Krishna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead & providing at least 8 hours of practical devotional service to the temple every 6 months of the year.

Sevak: 8 Rounds

Chanting at least Eight rounds of Hare Krishna Mahamantra daily, complete study of the books “Raj Vidya” and Perfection of Yoga”, establishing a temple in the house (according to the rules of Hare Krishna Movement), refrain from meat-eating, & providing at least 12 hours of practical devotional service to the temple every 6 months of the year.

Charanashraya: 12 Rounds

Chanting at least Twelve rounds of Hare Krishna Mahamantra daily, follow 4 regulative principles – No illicit sex, No gambling, No intoxication & No meat eating, fasting on Ekadashi and special festivals (as per Vaishnav Calendar) & providing at least 16 hours of practical devotional service to the temple every 6 months of the year.

Upasak: 16 Rounds

Chanting at least Sixteen rounds of Hare Krishna Mahamantra daily, study of the book “Srimad Bhagavad Gita As It Is” from Introduction to Chapter 9, follow 4 regulative principles – No illicit sex, No gambling, No intoxication (including tea & coffee) & No meat eating (including garlic & onion), Adherence to daily spiritual practices such as rising early, awakening in Brahma Muhurta, Mangala Aarti, Natrusham Aarti, Tal, Tulsi Aarti, Srila Prabhupada Guru Puja and listening to the Srimad Bhagavatam discourse (in the voice of Srila Prabhupada).
